SDC Northern Region Annual General Meeting & Presentation Evening

The SDC Northern Region AGM is being held on 1/5/24 at SDC headquarters, Perkin House, at 6pm. Please register your attendance by adding the event to your basket. Once you have registered to attend, you will receive an email with links to download the documents for the AGM. If you are interested in joining the regional committee, complete the Committee Nominations form and either email to members@sdc.org.uk or hand to the Chair on the evening.

A buffet and networking opportunity will be available from 6:30pm.  At 7:15pm, our special guest Andrea Noble, Design & Product Development Manager from A W Hainsworth & Sons Ltd will showcase how Hainsworth uses colour in its Stock Supported Fabric Qualities for Apparel (fashion, costume, Military and Protective Apparel fabrics), and also how she uses colour with customers in her Bespoke Dobby and Jacquard work., 

Followed by presentations to members who have achieved 50 years of continuous membership and to the winner and runners-up of the SDC International Design Competition held earlier in the day.

There will be a small selection from the SDC Archive on display and also the students’ entries from the design competition.
